Mr. Bolin's works are about social views and issues in China. I know the photo of Mr. Bolin with the bulldozer was his protest to the destruction of a suburban housing area to make way for the Beijing Olympics. From what I've read on him as an artist and as a social commentator, he does not tell us, but instead shows us with his great skill and observations that in some areas of China people are "not seen". I especially love the photo of Mr. Bolin with the police officer.
